HARD FACTS | Some interesting facts about why this victory is so historic for South Africa:

1. South Africa is now the first country in the world to win the Rugby World Cup championship FOUR times.
2. @SiyaKolisi is the first South African captain and second captain in the world (along with NZ’s Richie McCaw) to win the Rugby World Cup twice in a row
3. It is the first time South Africa has won back-to-back World Cup titles, and one of only two countries to do so.
4. Of the three times France has hosted the Rugby World Cup, South Africa has won it twice: in 2007 and in 2023. We were unable to participate in the 1991 World Cup due to the apartheid ban.
5. South Africa has never lost a Rugby World Cup FINAL match. When we get to the final, we make sure we win!
6. South Africa is the only country to win every match in the knockout stages by ONE point, including the quarterfinals, semifinals through to the final match.
