Ambassador Dennis Thokozani Dlomo’s wife celebrated South African Women’s Day

Ambassador Dennis Thokozani Dlomo’s wife hosted a special tea at the South African residence on August 10, 2022 to celebrate South African Women’s Day. Spouses of diplomats from the USA, England, Canada, Romania, Egypt, Paraguay, Mexico and Palestine were present.

The hostess spoke to the group about the background of South African Women’s Day and they reflected together on the transformative role of women in today’s society.

They also reflected on issues related to gender-based violence and femicide, as it continues to be a current global problem, especially among women.
