Cooperation programe on immigration along the Mexico-US border

The Cahegé D’Affaires of the South African Embassy in Mexico, Mr Selai Khuele, welcomed a South African Delegation headed by Ms Isabella Sekawana- Acting Deputy Director General: Welfare Services at the National Department of Social development and Mr Desmond Mahopo: Head of Department- Social Development in Limpopo.

The Delegation is traveling to Tijuana, Baja California, to conduct a cooperation programe that focuses on immigration along the Mexico-US border, based of the broad experience that the Republic of South Africa has on immigration, human rights, the fight against discrimination, xenophobia and historical challenges.

The Embassy of South Africa wishes the participants from South Africa, Mexico and other countries the greatest success in their endeavors in Tijuana.
