South Africa wins the Rugby World Cup championship FOUR times

FACTS | Some interesting facts about why this victory is so historic for South Africa:

1. South Africa is now the first country in the world to win the Rugby World Cup championship FOUR times
2. @SiyaKolisi is the first South African captain and second captain in the world (alongside Richie McCaw of NZ) to win the Rugby World Cup twice and consecutively
3. This is the first time South Africa has won the world cup title consecutively, and one of two countries to ever do it.
4. Of the three times France has hosted the Rugby World Cup, South Africa has won it twice – in 2007 and 2023. We could not participate in the 1991 world cup due to the apartheid ban.
5. South Africa has never lost a Rugby World Cup FINAL game. When we reach the final, we make sure we win!
6. South Africa is the only country that won all the games of the knockout stages by ONE point, including the quarterfinals, semifinals to the final game.
