2. You will immediately receive a first email to the email address you entered in the form indicating that your request was received in the system and a second email when the system has approved or cancelled your appointment.

 

️IMPORTANT REMARKS:

  • NO appointment is required to pick up visas on Mondays‚ Tuesdays and Thursdays from 09:00 am to 12:00 pm.

  • If you are NOT a South African citizen‚ we kindly ask you NOT to BOOK appointments on WEDNESDAYS‚ as this day is dedicated to services exclusively for South African citizens.

  • CIVIL SERVICES (passports‚ birth certificates‚ etc.) for South African citizens will continue to be provided EXCLUSIVELY on WEDNESDAYS by Ms Ntsoaki Lelibana.

  • DOUBTS specific to TOURIST VISAS (VISITOR VISAS) are resolved by writing to Consular Assistant Eduardo Navas navase@dirco.gov.za or calling +52-55-1100-4970 (switchboard)

  • Visas for Mexican passports are free of charge.

 

️PAYMENT OF VISAS IN MEXICO AND ABROAD ️

  • This information is NOT for Mexican citizens applying for tourist or visitor visas‚ since for them the visa is FREE OF CHARGE.

IF you are in Central America and require a tourist or visitor visa or
IF you are Mexican and require a student, critical skills or other VISA that requires a fee, please note the following:

The visa is processed in 7 (seven working days) and the transportation time for courier companies can be 4 to 6 days. It is the responsibility of each applicant to verify this number of days and calculate delivery times, visa processing and return of visa passport as there are NO rush visas or e-visas and the Honorary Consulate in your country does NOT issue visas of any kind.

Below the appointment calendar you will find all VISA types and the list of requirements and payment information according to the type of VISA and your location, whether in Mexico or abroad.

B.1 Download the list of requirements, the VISA application form and the General Info for Applicants, which contains the amount to be paid in USD (67 USD (47 USD + 20 USD bank commission per person):

B.2 Also download the Payment Info, which provides bank names, accounts, SWIFT CODE, CLABE interbancaria, and all bank details necessary to make your payment from abroad:

B.3 If you are IN MEXICO, deposit $570 pesos at the HSBC Bank and present your proof of payment at the embassy together with your visa application.

B.4 Please note that the Embassy of the Republic of South Africa continues to be a cashless environment and as such applicants for immigration and civic service applications are hereby advised to deposit and or transfer application fees into the following bank account using their full names, as they appear on their passport, as a reference for payments in Mexico and Payments from abroad.
